quarantined-ish day 21

Quarantined-ish Day 21
Tuesday, April 7, 2020 - OKC, OK

4:06am
Back baking at Elemental for Elena again. There are so many lovely ways to spend an early morning, and this is one of them. It’s cathartic, even if I don’t need catharsis.

9:00am
I teach an online class for YAT again and Suzanne texts me to be careful about being so close to the camera when in malasana. I’m so grateful to have friends who will be honest with me - and even more grateful that we can both get a good laugh out of it. This online thing is clearly a steep learning curve for me.

1:15pm
It appears that my COVID life has turned into alternating between spending a million hours in front of a screen and finding ways to be outside. I meet Wendy at Scissortail for another ridiculous workout. Elena joins us for another ridiculous workout. Then we sit six feet apart and have a glass of wine. I get a wicked headache from that one glass and am basically useless the rest of the day. I now hate that wine.

7:17pm
I start Mr. Rogers. It’s not called that, though… stand by. It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. It’s somehow simultaneously charming and serious, and I am loving it but my brain is throbbing and might actually start to ooze out of my ears. I’m calling this day and it’s not even quite dark, yet.
