quarantined-ish day 13
Quarantined-Ish Day Thirteen
Monday March 30, 2020 - OKC, OK
4:56am
How are my eyes open at this time of the morning when I spent the entire weekend running this challenge?!
8:45am
Taught my second IG live class to just my phone. I’ll say it again: I actually like this. Who knew? And I’ll say this again: I’m grateful that there is some good coming from this horrific pandemic. It’s expanding comfort zones, while also stilling me. What strange times we are in.
9:30am
Zoom. I’m a little over Zoom, though.
10:01am
Opened my phone to a message from an old friend. We haven’t spoken in years and he still sounds just like him. It’s funny how we are all still how we are even as time shapes us with experiences. This made my week, and it’s only Monday. I think.
10:53pm
Test run of the legs after the weekend. Inexplicably fine???
12:20pm
Learned that a friend lost her father-in-law to COVID last night. In Edmond. It’s heartbreaking that she can’t even be wrapped in a hug, right now. It’s _______________ to watch this virus move closer to home. The blank? Because I can’t imagine that the adjective won’t change minute by minute.
7:28pm
About a million hours of admin work with dance party interjections just to keep myself from remaining permanently in a cross-legged position. Bedtime because the weekend is catching up with me and I HAVE SOME PLACE TO BE TOMORROW!! YAY!!
